The Inside-Out Guide to Body Pain

Do you experience or struggle with any of the following symptoms?

  • Muscle stiffness, soreness and achiness (myalgia – including fibromyalgia)?
  • Arthritic pains and stiff joints?
  • Headaches and migraines?
  • Chronic back and neck ache, or pain around your kidney area?

If so, you’re not alone – the number of people walking round with chronic pain is astonishing, yet unnecessary in most cases. If you would like to reduce chronic pain in your muscles and joints, we can certainly help.

Did you know that 80% of all people who experience chronic muscle and joint pain are carriers of chronic “silent” infections, most of which are in the gut?

This has led many forward-thinking doctors to suggest that chronic infections are one of the main causes of chronic pain around the body!

Having worked with a couple thousand clients, I can state with the utmost confidence that pain is chronic pain is never caused by a deficiency of anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin.

The scientific literature is full of information suggesting that digestive infections like H. pylori, food allergies, urinary tract infections, nutrient deficiencies and other easily resolved factors cause chronic aches and pains.

It’s all about Inflammation

Pain is nearly always caused by a process called inflammation.

You’ve certainly experienced inflammation at some point in your life if you trapped your finger in door, hit your hand with a hammer, sprained your ankle or banged your head.

Inflammation is characterised by:

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Itching
  • Pain
  • Pus
  • Bruising

Chronic inflammation is no different – it just comes on a lot more gradually, over time, and you experience it as pain. The pain is there for a reason: it is telling you that your body is reacting to something.

You see, inflammation and its resulting pain sensation, is a sign that your immune system is reacting to something.

Inflammation is part of a natural response when your immune system wants to kick something out of your body:

  • Bad foods like gluten, processed cow’s milk and soy can cause inflammation.
  • Bad bugs like H. pylori, parasites and Candida can cause inflammation.
  • Bad toxins can cause inflammation.

The best way to reduce inflammation and bring pain levels down is simply to get rid of the bad things that are causing it in the first place.

  • Remove bad foods
  • Remove bad bugs
  • Remove bad toxins (this is achieved most of the time by removing bad foods and bad bugs)

Inflammation spreads like fire round a house

A core concept I’d like to teach you is that you can have inflammation in one part of your body that leads to inflammation in other areas.
For example, inflammation in your digestive system caused by the likes of gluten, H. pylori bacteria or intestinal parasites can result in inflammation developing in other areas of your body.

It’s almost like the inflammation from your gut spills over into other areas, like fire spreading from the kitchen to the hallway, up the stairs and into the bedrooms.
Furthermore, if your gut is damaged, you’ll find that more “bad stuff” in the form of toxins and undigested food can enter your bloodstream and circulate round to other parts.

Your immune system does not recognise some of this bad stuff and therefore attacks it. The immune attack can create inflammation and sensations of pain in your muscles and joints, or perhaps trigger a headache.

How To Beat Chronic Pain

The timescale for overcoming chronic pain varies from person to person, and it’s impossible to predict how long it may take.
If you have chronic pain of any kind (unless it is being caused by a physical injury, or structural problem), there are some simple steps that you can take immediately:

Avoid these foods:

  • Gluten
  • Nightshades (tomato, potato, peppers/capsicum of all kinds, aubergine/egg plant, goji berries, cayenne pepper)
  • Processed cow’s milk
  • Processed grain products
  • Soy
  • Vegetable oils (all except coconut and olive oils)

I recommend you avoid these foods for at least 60-days and see how you feel.

Remove bad bugs:

Ongoing, chronic infestation with the likes of H. pylori, parasites, Candida and other bad bugs can stimulate inflammation in your gut that ultimately spreads to your nerves, muscles and joints.

Detecting and removing these bad bugs using specialist laboratories may be the deal breaker to help you overcome your chronic pain.
Replace nutrients

Many nutrients perform an anti-inflammatory and anti-pain role in your body. If these nutrients remain low, you may never overcome chronic pain.
Some key nutrients are:

  • Vitamins A, C, D, E and other antioxidants
  • Coenzyme Q10
  • B-vitamins
  • Magnesium
  • Iron

We can help you evaluate your nutrient levels, as well as helping you uncover which bad bugs you might have.

Balance your hormones

Suppressed thyroid function, adrenal hormones and sex hormones can promote or fail to quench inflammation:

  • T4 and T3 thyroid hormones are important, and both need to be assessed
  • Cortisol
  • Progesterone

Again, we can help you determine your individual hormone levels.

A Home Stool Test

Doing a home stool test changed my life – I’m not sure whether I would have found out why I felt unwell had I not done one. I wish I had done one a lot sooner as it would have saved a lot of toil and struggle!

Our H. pylori home stool test tells you whether you have H. pylori, which strain you have, and whether you have an antibiotic strain. It is a completely unique test and has extremely limited availability. Click here for details.

If you would like to check for parasites, Candida overgrowth, whether you are digesting your food and whether you have a damaged immune system, you can also do this from your own home. I recommend this test if you have digestive pain of any kind, as it is very comprehensive.
