David’s Message

In October 2007, I overcome H. pylori – vomiting, nausea, stomach cramps – using a completely natural approach. I used a combination of diet, lifestyle and natural supplements for 90-days in order to completely resolve my digestive symptoms.

I not only had H pylori, but also a fungal overgrowth called Aspergillus and also a parasite called Blastocystis hominis. In order for me to clear my symptoms, I had to clear all these infections and allow my gut time to heal.

I decided to research the H pylori problem in more detail. I read more than 8,500 scientific and medical abstracts & studies on the subject and it immediately became clear that the information provided to patients by doctors and specialists is woefully inadequate. Most doctors don’t actually know what H pylori is, only that it is a bacterium that causes ulcers and can theoretically be cured using triple therapy antibiotics.

Your doctor may tell you that the only way to treat Helicobacter is by using antibiotics, but this is most certainly not the case. In fact, antibiotics are becoming less and less effective as H pylori develops resistance to them.

It became my goal to create a website and series of literature to help you understand H pylori and have the option to choose the program that suits you best so that you can overcome the infection as quickly as I did.

You do not need to struggle with Helicobacter pylori. Simple changes in diet and lifestyle as well as natural supplements and/or antibiotics used correctly lead to a speedy recovery from the infection. I have seen miracles occur when people have followed our protocols (some of these stories are listed in our testimonials section).

My experience shows that with an individualized diet plan, a scientifically based supplement program, stress reduction and exercise, your health can improve dramatically – not only physically, but emotionally. H pylori can be a thing of the past if you take responsibility for the infection and make it your goal to make the necessary changes to help you overcome it for good.

About David’s Practice

David offers the following services, which when integrated serve to support healing and ongoing wellness:

  • Laboratory-based assessments (hormone balance, digestive infections and function, liver function, toxicity, vitamin and mineral deficiency)
  • Nutritional supplement programs
  • Diet and lifestyle counseling
  • Exercise counseling, including rehabilitation and weight loss programs

Digestive Health

Digestive symptoms are typically grouped together as IBS. The problem is that IBS doesn’t really exist because all these symptoms have a cause. Nearly all digestive symptoms are caused by one of, or a combination of, food sensitivities and chronic digestive infections. Certain common foods, such as those containing gluten or cow’s milk can lead to years of unnecessary suffering that are immediately relieved by avoiding key foods.

Digestive infections are easily picked up in food, water and from other people. If our immune systems are not strong enough to fight the infections, they become chronic and cause digestive symptoms such as heartburn, abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloating, gas and constipation. Common infections include Helicobacter pylori, Giardia, Candida albicans, Blastocystis hominis, Amebas and Cryptosporidium. By testing for these infections and taking care to use herbs or medicines to clear them all digestive symptoms can be alleviated.

Hormone Balancing

In helping many women balance their hormones, I have discovered that in most cases hormonal imbalance is a secondary response to a primary stress, whether it is emotional stress, physiological stress due to pain and inflammation, or dietary stress. In general, if the stress can be addressed with diet changes, correction of chronic inflammatory conditions and support for emotional health, the need for continued hormonal support is eliminated.

Chronic Health Problems

The most common problem I see is infection – low grade, chronic infection caused by such things as parasites, bacterial infection (H. pylori is very common) and food intolerance – that over time wear people down physically and emotionally. In my experience, 90% of people bounce back health-wise within 3-6 months of starting treatment for chronic infections.

The tools I use to create a wellness plan:

  1. Diet Changes: Each person has a unique biochemistry. Therefore foods that benefit one person may not be helpful to the next. Food allergy testing, hormone assessments enable me to ensure that I recommend a highly-fine-tuned diet for each client.
  2. Supplement Programs: Nutritional deficiency and body system imbalance is omnipresent in contemporary life. Lab results matched with clinical presentation of symptoms enable me to discern what supplements will be supportive in the healing process.
  3. Exercise, Lifestyle & Stress Management Advice: Establishing an appropriate exercise, based on strength training, stretching and cardiovascular exercise is an important part of a natural health program. Lifestyle modifications such as alteration of sleep patterns, water intake, stress management or daily work schedule, can often yield excellent results. Examples of stress management vary widely. Some people need more time with family, more sleep or more connection to their spiritual life. The chronic stressors we all experience are often a major source of our health complaints and need to be addressed as part of a comprehensive plan to restore health.

Lab Testing

Natural therapies have advanced to the point where we can now use the perfect blend of science and nature to create lab guided, evidence-based supplement programs. Lab testing results can be applied to a wide range of health concerns, from weight loss to digestive complaints to hormone balancing.

Using the latest technology, we can now accurately assess specific nutrient deficiencies, detect digestive dysbiosis, measure hormone levels and determine the best therapeutic protocol for correcting many chronic health conditions. This technology can also be used on a preventive basis, to maintain healthy functioning in those without any current health problems.

“I am a man on a mission. Having had significant challenges with my digestion, mood and energy levels, and having seen my Mother pass away at only 60 as the result of digestive complications, I simply have to share what I know with as many people as humanly possible because the NHS cannot cope with current volume of patient admissions.”
