The FAQ’s below are for general purposes.
Can I access your consulting services where I live?
Yes. We offer phone and Skype consultations to you, wherever you may be located.
Can I access your laboratory testing where I live?
Yes. In most cases you will be able to receive lab-testing kits. Please be aware that our clients sometimes have trouble sending their completed test kits/samples back to the laboratories. We recommend you contact us before ordering a test if you are not in the UK, Europe, US or Canada.
What kind of training have Hompes Method practitioners received?
All Hompes Method practitioners have received extensive training in nutritional therapy, lifestyle coaching and the interpretation of basic laboratory test results. Hompes Method Master Practitioners have all been personally and painstakingly mentored by Dave Hompes to assure a consistently superior level of programme delivery.
Are Hompes Method Practitioners doctors?
No, Hompes Method practitioners are not licensed medical doctors. We work alongside medical doctors to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice. As Hompes Method practitioners, we focus on promoting health and optimal body function, not in diagnosing or treating specific symptoms and conditions. Our services are not meant to substitute or replace those of a licensed physician our clients are advised to be under the care of a licensed physician wherever they reside.
Do Hompes Method practitioners prescribe medications?
No. Hompes Method practitioners are not licensed doctors, and so do not prescribe or make any recommendations with regard to prescription medications or controlled substances. We use natural, non-invasive methods such as nutritional therapy, herbs, supplements, stress management techniques and lifestyle coaching to help our clients reach their health goals.
Do you take insurance with clients in the US?
We do not accept insurance. We accept Visa and Mastercard only.
If you reside in the U.S., please check with your insurance company in order to determine if your plan includes out-of-network benefits. If so, you can submit a statement from your consultation and the insurance company may reimburse you directly.
The laboratory tests we use have CPT codes, which we are happy to provide. In some cases, your insurance company will reimburse you for these tests.
How long will my programme last?
This really depends on several factors, including the complexity of your condition, how long you’ve had it, how much time, energy and attention you’re willing to devote to following our recommendations, and how well you respond to your programme.
In general, programmes last between three and six months, but most people start seeing improvement within the first two months. Patients may elect to continue with a maintenance programme after their initial plan is finished.
How much will my programme cost?
This also depends on several factors, including the complexity of your condition, the extent of lab testing required, the combination of supplements, herbs and other therapies needed during treatment, and the number of consultations you receive.
We honestly can’t advise you how much we expect your programme to cost until we have conducted a case review and initial consultation.
How can I learn more about whether your services are right for me?
The best way to determine whether we’d be a good fit is to read my books, join me on social media channels and peruse the information on my websites.
You’ll get a sense of who I am, where I’m coming from, how I work and the specific health goals I love to help people reach.
