It’s really important to re-test for H pylori after treatment.
Why? Because H pylori treatments aren’t always effective.
Please make sure you nag and cajole your doctor to have a re-test.
Always wait 28 days after completing treatment.
Don’t use the blood test though, as it’s useless for re-testing (the blood antibodies remain high even when H pylori has gone).
If your doc doesn’t want to re-test, we can help.
Drop me an email as we have an H pylori stool test you can do at home or some more comprehensive testing that checks for 55 different reasons why you’re not feeling well.
