“As a Pilates Instructor setting up a new business this not only improved my personal life, but my work life as well. The knowledge and skills I picked up in the 3 months I was working with Jack are now in my ‘tool box’ for life!”
24 year old Alex from London contacted us because she was experiencing bladder problems (urinary tract infections, or UTI’s) that were also affecting intimacy in her relationship.
She had a number of other symptoms relating to her digestion, as well as some food sensitivities and skin problems.
Alex’s chief complaint was a recurring bladder infection and cystitis, and when this is happening, we always look at the digestive system.
Research done in the 1970’s showed that in women, when there are problems in the genitourinary tract, there is always a microbial imbalance (called ‘dysbiosis’) in the digestive tract.
So it’s absolutely vital for women to balance out their digestive systems to properly overcome problems in the bladder and vaginal tract.
Alex’s symptom list
Before she began working with us, Alex was experiencing these unpleasant symptoms:
It had been more than four years since Alex had felt well, but in just four short months she was able to alleviate or vastly improve all these conditions.
Alex’s stool test
Because of the link between genitourinary symptoms and digestive health, Alex began by running a stool test.
Of course, Jack also coached her through a series of really important changes to her nutrition and lifestyle.
The stool test showed Alex had:
Here are some snippets from Alex’s test:

Interestingly, a urine test to specifically check for ‘bad bugs’ in the genitourinary system came back clean
The significance of Alex’s stool test was that yeast, Proteus and E. coli are common reasons for urinary tract infections (UTI’s).
The stool test data stacked up with the recurring UTI’s even though the urine test didn’t find any bad bugs.
It was almost certain that the recurring UTI’s were a symptom of the imbalances in Alex’s digestive tract.
Getting Alex well again
Alex worked with Jack for four months, which I’m sure you will agree is a short snip of time to commit to a healing plan, especially after four years of feeling unwell!
She diligently removed harmful foods from her diet to improve her digestive environment and prepare it for a cleansing and detoxification process.
She then followed back-to-back protocols to remove the bad bugs in her digestive system and replace her friendly, or good, bugs (using specific foods and probiotic supplements).
What improvements did she experience?
Looking back at her original list of symptoms, here are the improvements Alex reported:
Alex’s results just go to show how important it is to optimize digestive health.
Your gut is connected to every other part of your body, so if it’s not working properly, nothing else will.
Despite only having a few mild digestive symptoms, Alex had yeast, E. coli and Proteus overgrowths, as well as a raging H. pylori infection.
By rebalancing her digestive environment, she was able to make great strides in improving a lot of other symptoms that were reducing her quality of life.
Here’s what Alex had to say
“I started working with Jack to alleviate some constant bladder symptoms I was having.
During the 3 months we worked together I gained so much more than relief to my bladder.
I learned how to look after myself to a higher standard and maintain life with full vitality.
We worked together and Jack became almost a life coach in that he guided the tweaks to nutrition, how to improve energy levels, sleeping habits and just support in making the right decisions for my health.
As a Pilates Instructor setting up a new business this not only improved my personal life, but my work life as well.
The knowledge and skills I picked up in the 3 months I was working with Jack are now in my ‘tool box’ for life!”
Your situation is no different from Alex’s
If you commit a little time and energy to yourself, you too can achieve health improvements like Alex and many others.
Even if you don’t have really obvious, nasty digestive symptoms, your digestive system could be the main reason you’re not feeling well.
Sadly, medical testing for digestive problems isn’t that great – the tests are ‘old school’ and not particularly accurate.
Furthermore, docs aren’t that interested in your gut unless you have violent diarrhea and vomiting.
But most often, your gut’s where it all begins.
So if you have any digestive symptoms at all, it’s wise to run a stool test.
It’s simple and effective.
You just provide a stool sample in the comfort of your own home – there are no embarrassing clinic visits and nurses or doctors to contend with.
You pop a sample into the test tube and mail it back to the lab for analysis in the packaging provided.
It looks for 55 different reasons why you might feel under the weather.
We analyze the result for you, and give you some guidance on what it all means, and the action steps you need to take to begin feeling better.
I’m biased but I think it’s a no brainer.
Irrespective of what your doc has told you, you CAN feel better, faster, and a stool test is the best starting point.
I don’t allow a year to pass without doing a stool test – I’ve done lots now – because I want to make sure each year that my gut is in tip-top condition.
What’s more, if the test comes back blank and we can’t help, I’ll refund every penny.
It really is the most powerful tool out there for overcoming digestive and urinary tract confusion, and feeling on top of the world again.

Best,
Dave.
