How Yelena beat years of gas, bloating, and stomach pain

By the time Yelena, 61, decided to run her stool test, she’d been struggling with some of her symptoms for more than 40 years.

But her recovery shows that no matter how long you’ve had symptoms, or what your doctor has said, you CAN beat stomach pain, gas, and all the misery that goes with them.

Yelena’s symptoms included:

  • Bloating and gas
  • Stomach pain
  • Gastritis and duodenal ulcer
  • Thyroid problems
  • Heart arrhythmia (odd heartbeat from time to time)
  • Aches and pains in muscles and joints
  • Occasional brain fog
  • Sleep problems
  • Symptoms relating to her genitourinary tract

After around three months of work, many of these symptoms were well under control.

How?

Well, Yelena simply altered her diet and eating habits and begun working on eliminating some bad bugs we found in her gut!

Yelena’s stool test was very revealing and showed the following:

  • H pylori infection
  • Moderate yeast and fungal overgrowth
  • Cryptosporidium parasite

If you’ve read the articles on this site or ready my book, you’ll know that H pylori alone has the potential to cause many of Yelena’s symptoms.

Cryptosporidium is a little less known, though.

It’s a tiny microscopic critter that actually invades your intestinal cells if you’re unlucky enough to have it.

When it does this, “Crypto” inflames and destroys your intestinal lining.

So with both these major bad bugs AND a yeast and fungal overgrowth, I could see why Yelena had not been feeling well!

H pylori is known to cause reductions in stomach acid, without which food can’t be properly digested.

We also know, of course, that H pylori is responsible for ulcers in many people.

With fungal overgrowth and the nasty Crypto parasite hanging around in her intestine, Yelena was most likely struggling to digest her food and absorb her nutrients.

If this had been going on for many years, there’s no question Yelena would have nutritional deficiencies, which would also be contributing to her symptoms.

Organic Acids Testing

To check some of her nutrient levels, we also ran an organic acids test, which is a simple urine test done at home.

The test revealed shortages in some key nutrients, including:

  • Coenzyme Q10
  • Carnitine
  • B vitamins
  • Antioxidants

The urine test also also confirmed she wasn’t digesting food properly.

What action steps did Yelena take?

We began by working to remove the  bad bugs detected in Yelena’s test.

Specific protocols were designed to act against the various bad bugs in Yelena’s system and I also recommended she use some liver support to support her detoxification system.

I also recommended she eat more protein and healthy fats, but in smaller meals spread through the day to reduce stress on her digestive system.

To begin with it was quite slow going but with weekly support to provide support and encouragement, Yelena began feeling better.

Her energy levels began to return, her moods lifted, she began sleeping better and her digestion became much more comfortable.

After just 90-days, Yelena felt like a new person, and this was BEFORE we even began addressing her specific nutrient shortages detected in the urine test.

The seven areas of health

Yelena, and many of our other success stories, are perfect examples of how folk can walk around for decades with nagging symptoms in what I call the Seven Areas of Health:

  • Digestion
  • Sex and reproduction
  • Energy
  • Aches and pains
  • Mood
  • Sleep
  • Skin, hair and nails.

This suffering is completely unnecessary and the symptoms are easily resolvable.

Problems in your digestive system can actually trigger symptoms in all the other six areas of health.

The research is packed with papers showing how a damaged digestive system contributes to allergies, skin problems, aches and pains, energy and neurological problems.

Yet this is largely ignored in mainstream medicine.

As you’ve seen from Yelena’s story, in many cases all it takes is to place some attention on optimizing food intake along with a couple of simple, home-based tests.

If you’re willing to bite the bullet and provide a stool sample in the comfort of your own home, I’m certain we can help you beat your symptoms, no matter how long you’ve had them.

It all starts with the stool test, done in the privacy of your own home.

You just send off a sample in the packaging provided.

The lab does the rest and when it releases your result we provide guidance on what the results mean, and what you need to do in order to address them safely and thoroughly.

What’s more, if your stool test results come back blank, you get a full refund.

You can arrange a test, or find out more about them, here.
