Low on energy?

Are you low on energy?

Many folk don’t realize your body’s energy level is tied to digestion, yet I’ve seen energy levels skyrocket simply by fixing people’s digestive function.

Here’s how poor digestion drains energy:

First, if you can’t digest and absorb food properly, energy nutrients such as fatty acids, sugars, protein, vitamins and minerals may not reach your cells where they can be used to make energy.

Why wouldn’t you be able to digest food properly?

Well, bad bugs such as parasites, fungi and bacteria can damage the lining of your stomach and intestine.

They irritate and inflame the intestine so much that nutrients are unable to pass through from the gut into your body.

Second, it takes a lot of energy for your immune system has to fight bad bugs 24/7.

The more your immune system fights, the less energy is left to keep you feeling spritely ad energized.

In reality, it’s like having a common cold 24/7 – imagine how that would feel!

Third, bad bugs in your gut make toxins.

These toxins leak into your body and interfere with your body’s ability to make energy properly.

The more bad bugs you have, and the more damaged your gut lining is, the more toxic you’ll become.

Fatigue is not the only symptom caused by this situation – headaches, arthritic pains, mood problems, skin symptoms and others can also develop as a result of excess toxicity.

Fourth, when the gut lining is damaged by bad foods and bad bugs, stomach acid levels and digestive enzyme levels can decline.

H. pylori, for example, can cause damage to the stomach cells that make acid – known as parietal cells – and this prevents the proper breakdown of food.

Low stomach acid and enzyme levels can really decrease digestive efficiency, leading to a lack of energy-producing nutrients getting into your body where they’re needed.

Low levels of these substances can also make your digestive environment more attractive for yet more bad bugs to set up their home, leading to a vicious cycle!

Fifth, it takes a LOT of energy to digest food. If digestion is already compromised by bad bugs and a lack of important digestive juices, the simple act of digesting your meals can leave you exhausted!

Even if you change your diet and take energy-boosting supplements, if your gut isn’t working properly you’re not going to optimize your energy levels.

If you’re low on energy – and especially if you also have digestive symptoms like heartburn, IBS, constipation, bloating, gas, etc. – a stool test could be the first step to getting your vitality right back to where you want it to be.

Don’t forget, a stool test is done in the privacy of your own home – you just send off a sample in the packaging provided.

And if it comes back ‘blank’ you get a full refund.

You can arrange a test, or find out more about them, here.
