Do any of these symptoms sound familiar to you?
If so, I think you will be very interested in this article.
The first thing I’d like to say is that sex and reproductive symptoms are nearly always secondary to other things going on in your body.
Whilst I can’t possibly teach you everything I know about this topic in a short article, we have the necessary tools and methods needed to help you overcome symptoms in these areas through our lab testing and consulting services.
When I had H. pylori, parasites and a fungal infection, my sex drive was on the floor. I didn’t feel like having sex and I wasn’t getting morning erections.
In addition to my digestive woes, I also did some hormone testing and found that my stress hormones were too high at night, and too low in the morning, and that my testosterone level was too low.
90-days was all it took for me to resolve the majority of my symptoms. In resolving my digestive problems, I also increased my energy, vitality and sex drive.
When you’re under a lot of stress, your body just wants to deal with that stress.
It is not interested in digesting food, fighting infections, or having sex/reproducing.
Think about it: if you were running away from a sabre toothed tiger 15,000 years ago, would you be wanting to divert energy into digesting food and making babies, or would you just want to get the heck out of there and save your skin?
We don’t have sabre toothed tigers any more, but we do have kids, bosses, money worries, relationships, parents, commutes, self esteem issues and so forth.
They are all forms of stress.
Other forms of stress include:
All of these issues cause inflammation, which your body views as a stressor.
The more bad stuff you have in your body, and the lower your good stuff levels, the more stress your body will perceive.
The more stress your body perceives, the more it switches to stress mode over digestion, immune and sex mode.
Your body does not want to reproduce and procreate when it is stressed.
This is why stress beats sex every time.
Under normal, or ideal circumstances, your body makes plenty of sex hormones, the main ones being:
These hormones control your reproductive system and its functions, whether that’s regulating your menstrual cycle, making you feel horny, or sustaining an erection.
But these hormones fall out of balance when your body is under stress. Some of the sex hormones are sacrificed so that your body can make stress hormones to deal with whatever stress it is perceiving.
As a result, sex hormone levels decline, sexual function declines and sex-related symptoms creep in.
Of course, this is a whistle-stop tour of what happens, but the main principle is clear.
Because stress beats sex, every time, the way to restore sexual function is to reduce stress.
Often times, this means reducing or removing things from your body that should not be there:
Bad foods like gluten, soy, vegetable oils, excess sugar and processed grains
Bad bugs like H. pylori, parasites and fungal overgrowth
Bad toxins like pesticides, solvents, mercury, arsenic, lead, and so on
At the same time it is important to replenish good things that may have been depleted:
As you remove stress from your body by taking these actions, your stress hormones come down and your body can re-focus on supporting your reproductive function.
In some cases, I see sex and reproductive symptoms improve very quickly just by following the above steps.
In others, some specific hormone-rebalancing work may be required, using nutritional, herbal and hormonal therapies to support thyroid, adrenal and ovarian/testicular function.
Improving your menstrual health, sex drive and let’s be honest, general sexual and reproductive health can be much easier than you think.

This 250-page book is perfect if you know you already have H. pylori. In it, I outline:
Whilst this book focuses on improving digestive health, you may experience significant improvements in libido by following the recommendations therein.
Doing a home stool test changed my life – I’m not sure whether I would have found out why I felt unwell had I not done one. I wish I had done one a lot sooner as it would have saved a lot of toil and struggle!
Our H. pylori home stool test tells you whether you have H. pylori, which strain you have, and whether you have an antibiotic strain. It is a completely unique test and has extremely limited availability. Click here for details.
If you would like to check for parasites, Candida overgrowth, whether you are digesting your food and whether you have a damaged immune system, you can also do this from your own home. I recommend this test if you have digestive pain of any kind, as it is very comprehensive.
