| There’s no two ways about it: drink too much tea or coffee and eventually you end up with dog breath, or teeth that look like they have been painted yellow. Drink enough and both are guaranteed. Whilst that may sound like a blinding glimpse of the obvious, let me share something that isn’t. “How to have sweet smelling breath and pearly white teeth no matter how much coffee you quaff.” If you’ve been following any of my posts or mails, you’ll know that good health largely comes from cutting out the bad stuff in your body, and putting more of the good stuff in. It’s a very simple principle, but with today’s processed foods and busy lifestyle, it’s not easy to do unless you make an effort to do so. And I’m going to give you an example of this simple principle in action, right now. Let’s put some more good stuff in to your body, starting from the top down: your mouth. Your mouth is full of good bacteria and bad bacteria. So when you rinse with mouthwash, you kill all the good bacteria as well as the bad bacteria. And it’s also the start of your digestive tract. So good health also starts here. You don’t want to get rid of the good bacteria. So let’s get rid of the bad bacteria (which does wonders for your breath) and keep the good bacteria (which does wonders for your health). And at the same time, with no extra effort, let’s get your teeth pearly white too. Here’s all you have to do. Get some coconut oil (most stores have it). Put a teaspoon’s worth in your mouth. Now here’s the hard part. Gently swill and rinse the coconut oil in your mouth for ten minutes, then spit it out. The oil absorbs all the bad bacteria – and that includes the plaque on your teeth that gives them that yellow sheen. Do it everyday for a week and I’ll bet you just feel better too. Why? They’ll be less bad stuff in your body, and more good stuff. If what I’ve said has struck a chord with you, perhaps you’d like more tips like this, but for a specific complaint? If that’s the case, why not book a phone consultation? You can do so, here. Best Dave |
