My 13 year old daughter and I have been diagnosed with H.pylori, first through our medical doctors and then through a health practitioner who uses vibrational medicine assessment techniques and homeopathic and herbal treatments. My daughter has now missed nearly 2 months of school, after finally admitting to us that she has had the symptoms of nausea and blood in stool for years (!). We adopted her from a third world country as a baby, and are wondering if she came to us with H.pylori, as many things now make sense to us, such as the type of stools she had as a baby, her diagnosis of reflux (via the barium test)at age 2, and other symptoms. I began to have digestive problems (bloating, slow/no motility) a few years after we adopted her, had upper and lower-scopes with negative results, after which the MD off-handedly gave me the “purple pill”. More recently, after undergoing 4 successive spinal surgeries (for stenosis and disc protrusions onto the spinal cord), my abdominal pain and digestive problems got bad enough to seek more help…long story short, to the H.pylori diagnosis. Now we are in treatment with this practitioner. I have had NO nausea; my daughter has daily debilitating nausea. I did a round of the triple treatment from my O.D. before I knew of anything else, with absolutely no reaction; I could have been taking sugar pills. My daughter, however, got so sick on the antibiotics at first, that the MD discontinued them after 6 days. Then we found the practitioner, who says she has treated many others, and herself, with her protocol. I’m so thankful and have hope that this will work, but after 18 days, my daughter still shows no improvement. How long should we wait before the nausea and headaches start to go away for her? the treatment includes Pyloristat, the zinc carnisine complex, vitamin C complex, garlic, and homeopathic remedies (drops) for gut bugs and vermin bugs (she also evidently has E.coli, streptococcus, and other bugs). How do we trust this is right? She has missed so much school, but insists that she is too sick to go; she can’t hardly focus enough at home to do homework!
Please help if you have any advice..
LF
Hi Loretta,
Thank you for your comment and question.
There’s so much information here that it’s hard to know where to start.
The two action steps I’d like to give you are to:
1. Consider your daughter’s diet / eating regimen.
Get her off gluten, cow’s milk and soy foods to begin with.
Then consider the information in my book:
http://www.h-pylori-symptoms.com/h-pylori-diet/
2. Consider running a Digestive Health MOT for her.
She may have parasites like Blastocystis, Giardia or Strongyloides, yeast and fungal overgrowth like Candida, and other nasty invaders.
Unfortunately many docs won’t test for these and even when they do, the tests aren’t so accurate.
See this page for some detailed information:
http://www.h-pylori-symptoms.com/h-pylori-testing/
I hope this helps and welcome any other questions you may have.
Dave Hompes.
Thank you for your vidio, may God Bless for helping others to have a healthy and a productive live.
Hey, I just watched your video and I’m really convinced that my mother in law has H Pylori, she has been diagnosed with a bad digestion problem, like her stomatch doesnt break down the food correctly, she is not eating any solid foods. But she has been in treatment for almost 4 months and she still the same, has pain, nauseeas, feeling full, tired.what would de the test that doctors need to do to see if she has the H Pylori? the stool test? any blood test too?
Hi Maria
Thanks for your question.
To get the right H. pylori test, your mother in law would do well to go to her doctor and ask for one of these:
– H. pylori breath test
– H. pylori stool test (we also run stool testing to help people uncover what is causing their symptoms)
– H. pylori blood test
If your mother in law finds that she has H. pylori, she would be wise to follow her doctor’s recommendations on treatment; alternatively, if she is seeking an alternative or natural H. pylori treatment, she may like to read my H. Pylori Diet booklet.
Warm regards,
Dave.
