Blood test deception (part 3/4)

So far, we’ve looked at the fundamental problems of: Blood tests being very inconsistent in what they report and measure. Normal reference ranges being very wide and based on a sick population. These are incredibly important considerations when you’re told “everything is normal with your blood test” despite you feeling really unwell. Pathological versus functional reference ranges “I feel crap but my blood tests are all normal” is a common sentiment echoing around people’s minds – perhaps yours. How can you feel so wretched and still have super-duper normal blood test results? At first glance, it doesn’t make sense....

Blood test deception (1/4)

The first major problem with blood testing – especially in the NHS here in Great Britain – is the enormous inconsistency in the specific markers that are tested. When I began analyzing complete blood count/chemistry (CBC) tests I was astonished by the number of markers omitted in my clients’ tests, so much so that I wondered why the word ‘complete’ was used at all! A standard CBC should include the following markers (as a minimum): Red blood cells, haemoglobin, haematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW. White blood cells, neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, platelets. A metabolic panel / blood chemistry...

How Candida causes heartburn, bloating and other nasty symptoms...

I’m shocked that the medical system doesn’t really consider Candida overgrowth when people have irritable bowels and other ongoing symptoms. Candida can also cause fatigue, mood and memory problems, skin problems, athletes foot, jock itch and dandruff. Here’s a short video explaining Candida in a wee bit more detail: What causes Candida? Candida...

H pylori reinfection – can H pylori return?

“Dave, can H pylori return? Can H pylori come back? Can I have H pylori twice?” … These are common questions asked by folk around the world, and the straight answer is, “Yes, it can return, you can have it twice, and yes you can be reinfected.” Anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong, and the reason I know this is because I had H pylori twice myself. Two years after I had rid myself of H pylori, I woke up one morning with a gnawing pain in my chest. I KNEW immediately (and intuitively) that H pylori had...

Why H pylori symptoms return after treatment

It’s actually quite common for H pylori symptoms return after a few weeks or months after treatment – I don’t want this to happen to you. Maybe you didn’t feel better at all when you beat H pylori the first time round, or maybe you’re going through treatment now only to feel no better? If you’re in one of these boats, this article and video on why H pylori symptoms return after treatment (or never go away in the first place) will help. Watch the video first, then read the info below. Why some people’s H pylori symptoms never...
