52% of the Clients We Have Tested Have Either Parasites or Fungal Overgrowth in Addition to H pylori.
One of the main reasons why patients – and perhaps you – do not feel better even when they successfully eradicate H pylori is that they have other invaders living in their intestines.
These invaders can cause the same or similar symptoms as H pylori, which can cause a lot of confusion, especially when H pylori tests are negative.
My Story – H Pylori AND his Parasite Friend!
When I ran my first stool test through a wonderful laboratory in California named Biohealth Diagnostics, I tested positive for H pylori and a parasite called Blastocystis hominis.
After using Matula Herbal Formula and other herbal stomach cleansing products, all my upper gastrointestinal symptoms, mainly heartburn and acid reflux, quickly disappeared.
However, my lower GI symptoms – loose stools and excessive wind – did not clear up. It wasn’t until I ran a complete parasite cleanse to deal with the Blastocystis that these symptoms went away and I was able to restore proper digestive function.
H Pylori may NOT be the Only Cause of Your Symptoms!
The point I want to make is that H pylori is really just the tip of the iceberg when we consider digestive invaders. It’s common for us to see many different types of bacteria, parasites and yeast/fungi when we receive our clients’ test results.
Intestinal parasites may cause, or contribute to, virtually any digestive symptom, as well as skin complaints, depression, fatigue, sleep problems and muscle/joint pain.
Here’s a list of the common invaders we see in addition to our friend (or enemy), H pylori. Detailed information on most of these “bad bugs” can be found in the What Your Doctors Didn’t Tell You About Parasites” e-book, which is a quick and easy read:
Bacteria:
…and several more
Parasites (protozoan – i.e. microscopic – these little bugs are VERY common):
Larger Parasites, i.e. Worms (we do see some of these quite frequently, especially hookworm, whipworm, pinworm and Strongyloides):
Why Don’t Doctors Consider Parasites?
It’s a major mistake to assume that these intestinal parasites are only found and picked up in exotic, tropical countries. This is simply not the case.
Unfortunately, many medical doctors simply do not acknowledge intestinal parasites as causes of typical IBS symptoms. This is largely because parasitology is not taught in medical school.
However the medical literature contains literally thousands of studies that suggest otherwise and we feel that it’s vital to spread the knowledge that intestinal parasites are a MAJOR cause of chronic symptoms and, as mentioned above, they can cause pretty much ANY digestive symptom, not to mention fatigue, nutritional deficiencies, mood disorders, toxicity, headaches, joint and muscle pain, sleep problems and skin disorders!

What Your Doctors Didn’t Tell You About Parasites – the e-book
I’ve written a very quick and easy-to-read e-book that you can order on this site that discusses the issue of parasites in more detail.
If you have chronic, unexplained symptoms of any kind, I highly recommend that you invest in the information as it will genuinely help you to understand how these bugs may be sapping your health.
Parasite Testing Using the GI Effects Stool Profiles
We can also help you run state of the art testing for bacteria, parasites, yeast, fungi and complete digestive function using home-testing kits from what I consider to be the world’s leading laboratory in digestive infection analysis.
Would you be willing to share how you got rid of Blastocystis ?
Thanks so much
Hi,
Yes, I altered my diet according to the information in my book – The H Pylori Diet.
I then got rid of H pylori using Matula Herbal Formula.
Then, I followed up with a 60day protocol of various herbs from a range of companies,
used in a specific way, whilst all the time avoiding key inflammatory foods such as
gluten, cow’s milk, soy, etc.
The gut needs to de-inflame itself through food avoidance to allow the parasite
treatments to work more effectively.
People who think they can just take drugs or herbs to kill off bad bugs in the
gut are often mistaken.
Most folk need to change diet, lifestyle, improve immune function and only then
take the treatments. That way, the treatments are more effective.
I hope this helps!
Warm regards
Dave.
Hey Erika,
I used a very specific herbal protocol to get rid of both H pylori and Blastocystis.
For the first 30-days, I worked against H pylori using matula herbal formula
I then used a number of different products to fight the Blastocystis: GI Microb-X, Biocidin are a couple of good ones.
The key, however, was to alter my eating habits to make sure I reduced my digestive inflammation BEFORE trying to kill the Blastocystis hominis.
I offer the entire nutrition programme in my H Pylori Diet book, which you may like to read.
I hope this helps and please let us know if you would like further assistance – we offer a consultation service by phone and Skype, which you can read about here.
Warmest regards,
Dave Hompes.

I just want my life back I think I still have the hplori. Or even a parasite or another type of bacterial. Please help me wat type of clease should I use..
Chris,
Thanks for your post. It’s not about which cleanse to use, it’s about which test to have done in order to find out what’s going on.
Without assessing you’re just guessing, and you can end up wasting a lot of money on the wrong “cleanses”.
Your symptoms could be due to the food you’re eating, low stomach acid levels, H. pylori not having been eradicated and still hanging around, parasites, Candida and a weak lower esophageal sphincter.
So my strong recommendation would be to run a stool test to find out exactly what is causing / contributing to your symptoms, whilst at the same time taking care to follow The H. Pylori Diet food recommendations.
You’re dead right about the blood test – it’s not the best one to check whether H. pylori has been eradicated.
You may find the answer is simple, you may find it’s a little more complex – it’s really tough to know.
I worked with a lady named Mel and she found her symptoms completely went away by avoiding gluten in her diet. Yet other people find no relief from avoiding gluten, and it’s only when we help them find and beat parasites that they feel better.
Others still need to take stomach and intestinal support to help them digest food properly.
Best wishes,
Dave.
